For me, it’s nearing impossible for me to sit through a video like this and not be moved to tears. Whether it’s just your heart that weeps…or that your heart is poured out onto your sunken chest via your eyes. Listening to a young child calling…begging for death…rather than to continue living in this rendition of hell on earth…is undiluted heartache.
The image of Jacob sitting there…falling into a bottomless abyss of despair and loss as he recalls seeing his brother’s neck slit at the hands of Joseph Kony and his campaign…is haunting…evocative…chilling…it pierces your very being…it reaches into your soul and it petitions for a reaction…
