Well, well, well, apparently the watch Drake is rocking on the cover of his album Take Care isn’t actually his!
According to Manhattan entertainment lawyer James McMillan had the Gold Rolex stolen from him back in 2009 by the New York based jewelry store Rafaello & Co. The Rolex Presidential which features a diamond bezel has a value of $30,000 on the marker and McMillan has filed a lawsuit to recover the value of his timepiece… $30,000? Id be hiring a f*cking army to recover my watch if that was me!
Well hasn’t Drake found himself in a bit of a pickle… the news comes out just as French Montana releases his new single Pop that featuring the Canadian rapper who ironically spits about his expensive watches:
I’ve got one watch that would pay for all your chains and you’d owe me change… Well Drizzy maybe that isn’t your watch after all.
Drake has denied this, and says he received the watch directly from Rolex. He also told the New York Post that he’s “never heard of this jeweler.” Well he would say that wouldn’t he, after all Drake and confrontation are just two words that do not go together.
