Chezza downs Tequila shots on stage during her London gig, surely she couldn’t of sounded that bad..
Cheryl (minus the Cole, as she’s recently dropped Ashley Cole’s surname) performed live at London’s G-A-Y nightclub this weekend to celebrate her new single Call My Name hitting number 1, making it the biggest hit of the year so far hitting 152,000 downloads in a week. Let’s be honest, the Geordie beauty can’t hold a note to save her life, the real success behind the single was down to Producer Calvin Harris.
She proved to her audience that she can for sure handle her drink as she downed several Tequila shots on stage minutes before performing. Oh dear, I wonder what Ashley Cole is thinking…
The singer had recently said in an interview that she begins every night out with a “bang” meaning Tequila, as she finds all that “sipping business” boring and too time consuming. You know what they say, you can take the girl out of Geordie but you can’t take the Geordie out of the girl.
So the organisers at the club thought to hand her some shots equipped with lemon and salt minutes before her live performance. I wonder if the alcohol improved her singing at all…I doubt it, at least Chezza has proved to us that she’s more than just a pretty face.
