This summer, if I could nominate one particular type of footwear that would be a summer essential, it would have to be a good old pair of Chuck Taylor’s. They’re versatile, comfortable and simple. There aren’t many outfits you can’t compliment them with. And having released two new models, Converse’s premium first string has released the two popular models with slight tweaks to the design. The uppers compromise of premium heather jersey cotton, and are said to be “inspired by the warm, summer weather.” The added feature of the triple banded grosgrain taping at the heel adds a touch of elegance to the shoe. In my opinion, a great purchase for the summer, and for the price (retailing from £60-65), you can’t go wrong with either silhouette. They’re available for purchase at End Clothing so be sure to act fast, because they’re sure to sell out fast!
