I only checked out Jessie Wares new single Night Light because I heard that she’d won a Mercury Prize, and if I’m honest I spent the time that it took the video to load, bracing myself for another eccentric, seemingly quirky but secretly boring singer.
And didn’t I just bloody get it….
I swear Kanye West and Lady Gaga have sent people into an artistic frenzy encouraging people to make videos that everyone incorrectly interprets and pretends that they can understand, and then these people wonder where these rumours of devil worship and mild schizophrenia come from, damn fools.
